Rich,

Thanks for a well run event. I sent this email to my Broward Barracuda Tri Club in South Florida.

Hi Danielle,

I did it! Thanks to all the Barracudas who helped me with training advice, nutrition advice, open water swims, and bricks while I was in Fort Lauderdale.

The Toughman Half in Croton, New York is a beautiful but very hilly course. The hills are challenging on both the bike and the run but the scenery more than compensates for the pain of the hills. The swim is in a cove leading to the Hudson River about 30 mile north of NYC.

The Tri is well managed with lots of gel, water and Gator aid stops on the run and hydration on the bike. The course was well marked and the traffic was light and respectful of us. The volunteers were super and post race BBQ was more than we could eat. Best of all the Tech Tee is very cool.
